I am so excited. Today, the search is over.
I am plagued with getting things stuck in my head, and not being able to rest until I figure out the artist responsible. Like if I'm watching a movie and recognize an actor, I can't rest until I figure out who that person is. The same thing if I'm trying to figure out a movie scene or a quote from a book.
The worst is not being able to identify a song.
For years I have had this song in my head and have not been able to figure out who the singer is. It was a country song from my childhood. And in vein, I have been searching for it under Roseanne Cash's discography. Wrong.
It was actually recorded by Lacy J. Dalton in 1990.
I love this song. Something about it just breaks my heart. I usually get it stuck in my head on rainy days, sad days and every time I ever went through a bad break-up.
I'm dedicating this one to my sister who just broke up with her man this last week.
